Google I/O Conference Kicks Off With New WebM Video Format

The annual Google I/O conference at Moscone Center in San Francisco kicks off today, following Google’s announcement all the way back in March that the event is sold out, with more than 4,000 attendees expected. Those who can’t attend, though, shouldn’t fret. Conference organizers have confirmed that this year’s sessions–and there are many of them–will be offered in archived versions online.

According to Handle With Linux , the “Misa guitar runs Gentoo Linux on an AMD Geode processor and it has MIDI and Ethernet ports for connectivity.” Where there would be pickups on a normal electric guitar, Misa’s offers a touchpad LCD screen. By working the LCD screen with one hand and pressing down on virtual strings on the neck of the instrument, you can create synthesized sounds
