CEO Eric Schmidt has already characterized enterprises as Google’s “next billion dollar opportunity,” but only now is it becoming clear how serious Google is about the effort. Talend Gets Another $8 Million in Funding

Talend , which offers open source data management software and solutions, announced this morning that it has secured $8 million in Series D financing. Previous investors Balderton Capital, AGF Private Equity and Galileo Partners, all participated in the round.
